BEYOND THE SKIN

Filmed and photographed on a volcanic landscape, where the beaches are often ablaze with lava, this campaign juxtaposes Karl Blossfeldt’s evocative nature studies with the bare landscape, the models’ bare skin, and an intimacy so pure, yet graphic, that it seems to go deeper, and higher, than the skin.

To launch the Spanish luxury brand’s new fragrance, Solo Ella, designer Jonathan Anderson turned to actress muse Elisa Lasowski and The Style Council for a 360° all-platform campaign befitting a digital era. The stills were shot by Oliver Hadlee Pearch and the Film by Gordon Von Steiner in Toledo, Spain. The campaign captures the individuality and strength of the LOEWE SOLO woman- ‘ELLA’ Lasowski’s voiceover for the campaign puts it, “I compare to no one, no one compares to me.” TSC also designed a modernist twist on the fragrance bottle, like a fashion accessory, which closes with a tangerine-orange clip.
